100 Club Renewals

 Starting Sunday 6th April, the monthly prize amounts have changed to 1st-£25,  2nd-£15, and 3rd-£10 giving more people a chance to win. The 100 club special Christmas draw remains at £100 with additional prizes of chocolate and wine. If you have not already registered and paid, please do so as soon as possible!

Easter Egg Raffle

Donations to our Easter egg raffle most warmly welcomed, the raffle will be drawn on Palm Sunday 13^th April after 1130 Mass. Tickets on sale soon.

Lenten Lunch

Our annual Lenten Lunch will be held on Sunday 6^th April at 12.30 in the Holy Rood schoolroom. You will need a ticket to take part. The lunch will cater for up to 24 people. Tickets will be available after Mass at the back of the church. Ticket price: £5 per person.  Proceeds to go to CAFOD.

Caistor Easter Bingo

Caistor Easter Bingo on Sunday 13th April at 7pm.Doors open 6.30pm . All monies raised will be for the church. Any offers of help will be most appreciated and if anyone would be willing to help that would be great. Please see Anne McIntyre.

The Diocesan Choir

The Diocesan Choir is hosting a morning rehearsal for singers of the diocese to come together to learn music to sing at the Diocesan Chrism Mass. All are welcome! The morning is on Saturday 5th April, 10.30am-1.00pm; and the Chrism Mass on Wednesday 16th April, from 10.00am. To sign up contact cathedralmusic@dioceseofnottingham.uk

Easter Triduum

This year celebrations will be different, unfortunately the Priest who was going to assist has had to cancel. Fr. Eddy has kindly offered to cover Gainsborough for Good Friday but otherwise no help is forthcoming. Therefore, the programme this Easter is as follows. 

I am sorry if this causes any inconvenience or upset, but this is the best I can do under the circumstances being Parish Priest of two large Parishes.

Easter Raffle

The raffle tickets will be available from the 9/10th March in all churches, with the draw taking place on the 24th March.

Easter falls in March this year , can we please ask for donations of Easter eggs.

Easter Bingo

Easter Bingo Caistor: We are intending to hold an Easter Bingo on Sunday 24th March at 7pm at Caistor. All monies raised will be for church. funds. This has previously been an enjoyable social event. Offertory: All things being equal we shall re-introduce the offertory procession on Easter Sunday. Nearer the time lists will be put out for you to place your names on if you wish to take part.
