Hello again, and welcome back to this week’s bulletin. The Mass times are as follows:
Remembrance Sunday
Remembrance Sunday 10th November: After the 11.30 Mass in the schoolroom a 1940’s luncheon, Tea, Coffee, sandwiches & cakes, songs of the period. Possibly wine if I have enough ration coupons! Songs of the period, Adults £5 to be shared between the parish funds & The RAF Benevolent Society. Please do sign up at the back of the Church to attend this occasion.
Secular Carmelite Day: Open to all
Saturday 16th November, from 9.30 am till 3.00 pm, in St Hugh’s Church, and Hall, Lincoln. “Come and see!” (Jn 1:39,46;4:29). “St John of the Cross” Secular Carmelite Community meets monthly, on 3rd Saturdays, at various of the three Lincoln Catholic Churches, from 9.30 am till 3.00 pm for : Morning and Evening Prayer, from the Divine Office; silent Contemplative Prayer, which may include both traditional and/or more contemporary approaches, such as those of John Main and Thomas Keating, etc ; Lectio Divina; and exploring, in particular, though not exclusively, the teachings of Carmelite Saints, such as John of the Cross, Teresa of Avila, Thérèse of Lisieux, Elizabeth of the Trinity, and Edith Stein, etc. Please bring packed lunch. Christmas Raffle:
Tickets are now available, please take them & sell them to friends family etc. The draw will take place at St Thomas More Caistor nearer to Christmas after a Saturday evening Mass.

Christmas Mime
If you would like to take part in the Town’s Christmas mime this year in the Town Square, please let Fr. Robert or Mike Eckersley know. Looking for players, musicians, narrator, back stage personnel.
Food Bank
Tinned & dried goods are always needed to help those families who are struggling at this time of year. If you would like any further information please have a chat with Pauline.
Month of the Holy Souls
November is the traditional month we pray for the departed. Next weekend envelopes will be available for you to enclose lists of your deceased relatives & friends you wish to remember with a donation towards the Masses celebrated in November. These will be placed in a box that will remain on the Sanctuary throughout November.
Christmas Coffee Morning
The Christmas Coffee Morning: Will take place Dec 16th in the schoolroom. We need donations of bottles, chocolates etc for the Tombola & nearer the date cakes for the cake stall. Kevin is looking for ideas for stalls & volunteers to run them on the day. Please let me or Kevin know of any suggestions you have for this. A list for volunteers will be placed in the Church nearer the time.
