We have had three deaths in the parish in the last weeks, please do pray for the souls of the deceased and for comfort for their families.

Parish E-Mailing List: We have set up a new parish E-mail list which allows those who join to be kept up-to date with information in the parish via E-mail. It is a versatile tool and will allow (in time) various groups within the parish to have their own sections. What‘s happening out and about?

Becoming a Catholic? If you are interested in becoming a Catholic (or know someone who is) or want to find out more about the Catholic faith, we are hoping to start a new course in September for adults. Please either speak to Fr David after Mass, or E-mail him at holyroodchurchmr@outlook.com

The Diocese is looking to appoint a Compliance and Support Property Officer who is an experienced administrator preferably with a background in property management, with excellent IT and communication skills, who is organised, patient, calm under pressure and confident liaising with others, whether contractors, clergy, volunteers or colleagues.  If you are self-motivated, have good people skills and excellent attention to detail the Diocese would like to hear from you!  There may be opportunity for occasional home working, as well as working in our Nottingham Office, and visiting parishes across the diocese.  The job is 37.5 hours per week.  More details are available at:

The Diocese is looking to appoint an Adult Formation Officer, to be based at Saint Thomas More Parish, Knighton Road, LE3 3HN.  The job will be to coordinate and support opportunities in the parishes for the faith formation of adults, through the sacramental preparation programmes and other avenues, and to. ensure that adult faith formation is organised and delivered to a high standard to provide effective primary evangelisation for adults in the parish communities.  The job is 10 hours per week.  More details are available at:

The Diocese is looking to appoint a Parish Administrator for the Parishes of Corpus Christi, Clifton, and Our Lady and Saint Patrick in the Meadows, Nottingham.  An exciting opportunity has arisen to join these parishes’ team.  The parishes are looking for a motivated, professional and approachable individual with excellent administration and IT skills to join our small parishes team.  The post holder will play a key part in the management of the parishes’ office and parishes’ administration, including administrative support to clergy, as well as frequent liaising with parish volunteers. On Saturday 6th September the annual UK March for Life 2025 will take place in London. holyroodmr@gmail.com  was set up in 2020 to deal with general enquiries, communication generated via the website, and third parties such as West Lindsey churches festival. These emails are initially looked at by the bulletin team and passed to Fr. David if appropriate.
