First Holy Communion: Natalia age 9 and Nikola age 11 have been taking their First Holy Communion lessons for a while now, you may have seen then at Market Rasen taking up the offertory gifts during mass. Please remember them in your prayers as they will be making their first communion on Sunday 4th October during 11.30 Mass.
Second Collection this weekend: Home Mission Sunday The Second Collection supports the work carried out by the Bishops’ Conference Mission Directorate, supporting our Church in a wide field of service and mission here in England and Wales. Please hold this important work in your prayers and give as generously as you can. Thank you.
Harvest Festival Service at Hainton On Sunday October 18th at 3pm we will be holding our annual Ecumenical Harvest Festival service at St Francis De Sales chapel at Hainton Hall. The service is a short Ecumenical service (not a Mass) of Thanksgiving for the harvest, followed by refreshments at Hainton Hall kindly hosted by the Heneage family. All are welcome.
First Aid kits: Two First Aid kits and Accident Report books are available. One kit and book is in the Narthex; the other kit and book are in the schoolroom. Bottled water is also available in the Narthex.
Schoolroom Hire: The amended Booking Forms and Amended T&Cs are now available. A copy of the T&Cs is on the schoolroom noticeboard. Please see Mary Q or Keith for more information.

Rosary: The Rosary is said before the 10am Mass at Holy Rood on Tuesdays, all are welcome to join in.
Exposition and Adoration (Confessions available) Thursdays 10:30am Holy Rood (after Mass)
Mass Intentions: If you want to have a Mass offered for a particular intention, we have “Mass intention Envelopes” at the back of each Church. The Diocese recommends a donation of £10 for a Mass intention.
Food Bank: Tinned & dried goods are always needed to help those families who are struggling at this time of year. If you would like any further information please have a chat with Pauline.

During the Week of Prayer for Palestine and Israel, beginning today, Sunday 20th September, we are invited to hold the people of the Holy Land, especially its children, in prayer and solidarity, and to let our prayer move us towards action. CAFOD Harvest Fast Day is on Friday 2nd October. This Harvest CAFOD is sharing stories of change from northern Zimbabwe where tackling hunger and thirst is helping children get back to learning. Thank you for all your support.
Join the Dominican Sisters of Saint Joseph, on Friday 9th October, for an introductory session to discover the vocation of the catechist and how to use the Catechism as a tool in passing on the faith to others. Meet after the 6.10pm Mass in the Frassati Centre, LE1 6HW. The evening will include a mixture of talks and workshops, and we will finish with Compline (night prayer). Some light food will be provided, and everything will conclude by 9pm. holyroodmr@gmail.com was set up in 2020 to deal with general enquiries, communication generated via the website, and third parties such as West Lindsey churches festival. These emails are initially looked at by the bulletin team and passed to Fr. David if appropriate.
