Welcome to this week’s bulletin. The Mass times are as follows:
RIP Jim Murrey
Jim’s Requiem will take place here at Holy Rood on Wednesday March 6th at 11am. We would be very grateful if you could join us for his Requiem. Please keep Jim in your prayers. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
Important – 100 Club…
The last draw for this year’s 100 club will take place on the 4th March, and now is the time to plan for the next one, which we hope to run from April 2024 until March 2025.
The annual charge will be £10 for all 12 months, the monthly prize will be £50 with the exception of the December draw which will be £100 with a second and third prize too.
Could you please let Mary Quint, Keith Winnard or Anne McIntyre know if you wish to take part.
Lenten Lunch
The Lenten lunch will be held on the 17th March 2024 in the schoolroom after 11.30 am mass The menu is ; Leek and potato soup or mushroom soup Bread rolls and soda bread Apple pie and cream/ice cream Cost £4.00 per person The money raised will be given as a donation to “ Family Fast Day” from the Parish. Could you please let Mary Quint know if you wish to attend.
Easter Raffle
The raffle tickets will be available from the 9/10th March in all churches, with the draw taking place on the 24th March.
Easter falls in March this year , can we please ask for donations of Easter eggs.

Easter Bingo
Easter Bingo Caistor: We are intending to hold an Easter Bingo on Sunday 24th March at 7pm at Caistor. All monies raised will be for church. Funds. This has previously been an enjoyable social event. Any offers of help and donations of prizes would be appreciated. There will be home-made cakes and refreshments available.
Changes…
Offertory: All things being equal we shall re-introduce the offertory procession on Easter Sunday. Nearer the time lists will be put out for you to place your names on if you wish to take part.
Foodbank
Tinned & dried goods are always needed to help those families who are struggling at this time of year. If you would like any further information please have a chat with Pauline.
