To all those who prepared the churches for Christmas, the decoration, music, flowers were first class. To my servers and readers also well done. And of course not forgetting all of you who attended to make this a blessed Christmastide celebration.
And…
Thank You for all your gifts prayers and good wishes for the Christmas season and New Year. It has certainly been an interesting 2023. At the grand age of 37 (68) I expected life to slow down a little, but the Lord decided differently. With the addition of St. Thomas parish Gainsborough that has not happened. The parishes have, I am pleased to say, pulled together magnificently due to your generosity of spirit in accepting the inevitable changes that have come about. The new year will throw up new challenges but together we will, I know succeed. God’s blessing to you & yours for this Christmastide & 2024.
Food Bank
Tinned & dried goods are always needed to help those families who are struggling at this time of year. The cold weather is forecast to arrive this week so soups, various pot noodles etc. would be most welcome. Please see Pauline if you have any questions.
